I dont like thinking about Christmas just yet. I dont like the comercial bit but I love the Christmas service and the carols.

i can't believe how fast this year has gone by, crap, i'll be 19 on wednesday!!!  it's gonna be crazy at our house for christmas this year with a whole heap of relatives from NZ coming to stay, not that I mind.... I'm actually really excited ;D |

What's scarier than Christmas, is that I'll be getting my TCE results, and auditioning for the Uni, and the letter to say if I got accepted into the University, and if I got into the apartments there, and on top of all that exams, and getting my wisdom teeth out!!
My Drama exam is in 12 days?! Ahhh!

I don't have anything with cristmas personally... i used to love it as a kid but know i just think it's boring... all the stores are closed, people spending time with their familly.... i always just book a holiday and get the hell away from everyone untill newyear!

where are you going this xmas,patricia?i do like xmas,its just that is becoming so commercialised and ther is so much pressure put on parents to fork out and even get into debt to buy their children the things they want.also i hate all these commercials on tv advertising all the latest toys,as the kids always ask if they can have it and then when you cant afford it you feel so blooming guilty about it and everything seems spoilt!!

Yes, you describe exactly why i hate christmas, all the pressure to do all those things, i just hate it.... My family knows they don't get anything from me, just a postcard, i'd rather give them presents on other days..... My BF and me don't exchange presents either, we just go on a holiday which is our present to each other.... we haven't desided on were to go yet because i want to go to South Africa and my BF wants to go to Canada.... so now we're looking for a country that we both want to go to!  |
