I think that burning to death would be worse than drowning... but that's just me. I taught myself how to swim (much to the amazement of my parents) lol. I feel really comfortable in the water. I went swimming 6 out of 7 days when we were on Maria Island, and that included jumping off the jetty! One huge fear I have (I have no idea where this came from, but...) is getting a paper cut on my eye... how weird is that?! But I'm so scared of doing it! lol. Peace, Rotae

lol yeah burning to death is worse, id rather freeze to death...but i still fear drowning more than anything...which is weird cos water is my favourite substance heh
i had swimming lessons, but they didn work...so my mum stopped them...then i just taught myself to do it, and it was much cheaper...hmm last time i went swimming was in the mediterraen (sp?) on my 18th birthday...it was FREEZING! i threw myself in, fully clothed...cos i wasnt likely to have the chance again...

would you believe it-i still have not learned how to swim!!!!!i sometimes go to the swimming baths with emma and laura but i always stay in the shallow end11they can both swim though,i know i will have to learn one day as it is really good exercise and being in the water is so relaxing, another thing is i am as blind as a bat without my contact lenses and i cant wear them in the water as i would probably lose them,so that is another reason i dont go that much!

emma loves green day..some of her friends are going to see them in concert and i think it cost about one hundred and fifty pounds just for two of them to go,she is so jealous but i just couldnt afford it,never mind, she is still only 13so she has plenty of time to go to pop concerts, she has boulevard of broken dreams as one of her phone ringtones.

lol i wanted to go, but the ones i was after were sold out by the time i got round to it... and 13 is a bit young for a Green Day gig...they can get a bit er.....not violent but er, rather heavy for a 13 year old (my first gig i was 13, it was a 30,000 outdoor gig...even though i was with my mum...i was scared nutsless when they started all the moshing and pushing about lol, now im completely at home in the thick of it). So its prolly better.
im listenin to 'Wish You Were Here' theme choone singin outta ma tv lol

i remember when i went to see the bay city rollers at newcastle city hall in 1976,it was on the 15th of september and i was 16,i went with 3 friends, everyone was screaming, pushing and shoving,it was quite frightening as nearly all the fans were taller than me as i am only small,i decided to make a dash for the stage as i was near the front and actually made it onto the stage, only to be carried back down again by a bouncer,i was kicking and punching him because i wanted to cuddle eric!!!!![lead guitarist].but really,it was a bit frightening, there were girls fainting all around me and getting carried out.
