at the moment the job criteria is....


not working with general public too much, not having to take my piercings out for work, and a decent wage/work ratio. (unlike the last job i had, yeah it was £5.67 an hour...but for the amount of labour i did, it was seriously underpaid)


ahhh well


my mp3 player showed up today....TRÉS SEXY! lol id take a pic but i cant at the moment...

hah was funny thought this morning, i got home from my night out at around 7am (after shivvering through the snow), to be woken up at 9 by the postman....but i heard my mum get up so i thought was gonna answer the door..but she musnta heard it, hence didnt.


so she woke me up again at 12pm ish and we practially sprinted up town to the sorting office (it shuts at half 12) to get my walkman....the snow didn help lol


anywho, the thing thats on my mind, ive not moved from this bed all day (with the exception of toilet breaks and dinner etc) cos ive been on here uploadin music to said mp3 player....its been a cumulative 12 hours and ive only managed to fill 741...it takes up to 13,000!! ;O *keels over* gonna take days! heh
good thing is, once my whole music collection is in here, i never have to take some off to fit some new things on lol wooo

good for you dory!!hpe you get it all sorted,on my mind is the lessons emma wants are going to cost fifteen hundred quid!i said we wol fis another place less expensive but she is having none of it,she wrecked her room and tried to block me from the computer,dont know what to do..the thing is,the money has to be paid all at once,and i know that even if did have the money on had,she would most probably get fed up and then my money would have been wasted!meanwhile she is making all of our lives a misery....

tell her, the sooner she realises the world doesnt revolve around her and it WONT end if she doesnt get the lessons...the better...unfortunatly money has a big say in things these days, and to her it might not be a big issue...but if you honestly cant afford it Retro (and you cant barter the prices down) then just stick to your guns....she'll get over it eventually...might go into a strop and start saying youve ruined her whole life and her world is going to collapes, thats par for the course...
you just have to be strong. *hugs*

if she tries blocking you from the computer, ban her from it for a while, its not her place to do things like that..

and if she wrecks her room, leave her to it, she's the one that has to live with the mess and broken things, then try to find things of hers and cant....she'll soon realise it was wasted energy...


i know, ive been there done that....*sighs* why cant things ever just be simpe and straighforward, eh?

thanks for the advice dory!i brought laura down to the library from school so we can go on the computer there!laura likes a game called runescape and emma wont let her on it at my mums house so she is on it now,emma hasnt mentioned anything else about the lessons yet today,i am not bringing the subject up unless she mentions it,trouble is,there is a girl in her class whose parents are well off and she goes to these lessons,she even has her own website with pix and sound on it where she is singing[spoilt brat].anyway,the thing is,emma says she wanyts to bring her down a peg or two,but there is no way i am going to pay that amount of money when i know that emma will soon get tired of it,and i will be left with no money!

yeah,i hope she does well!i have just been to the doctors with my husband.he has had a breakdown through stress and is off work,he smashed lauras bedroom window last night in his sleep,so now we have to get a new window put in,it is a worrying time....
