Hya!
I was thinking of starting an promo team for Ritchie to promote him all over the world.
maybe to start with the fans from the countrys that are listed here.
I want to start a dutch one but i cant do it alone, it be great if other dutch fans maybe two others? could help me out get this in holland.
What do you all think about it?

good idea but i think that there arent enough of us yet... I mean there are still ppl who loved ritchie and dunno bout his return yet so we should tell them first and then if there is a single of Ritchie already we could start thinkin bout things like this

I think that's a great idea... eventually. We would really need one person or a team to be in charge who knows how to do these things properly. So many other artists have these crazy 'street teams' who go around the net posting spam all over other people's message boards/forums and all that does is make everyone else mad at them and dislike the artist.
Promotion teams can be great or they can blow up in your face. If anyone decides to promote Ritchie on their own, be cool and subtle.

We do that for Abs by requesting radio stations to play his music so we could always do that for Ritchie. I agree tho that it has to be done tactfully as we dont want to put people off him.

I am apart of the Absessive online promotion team and i think its great ;D it definitely helps to have one person to head up the whole thing and then team leaders - once things are organized it goes like clockwork - team leaders get assignments for themesevles and their teams from the head person and then they email the assignments out  it works well. basically at Absessive - for anyone who may not know - the assignments im speaking of are radio stations and everyone's job is to email their assigned radio stations and request the single that we're promoting at the time. sometimes the assignments may include links to sites that having include the single of the artist, or the artist themselves, in an online vote or something like that as well. i'd definitely like to get involved so hopefully when Ritchie gets his contract straight and all that we can get to work!  |

Thanks for that Leeny, I didn't really know what it was all about and since I've never been on the Abs site before I didn't really know how to navigate it! lol. I'd really be interested in doing something for Australia, but because Australia is so big and there is so much room (about the size of the USA), maybe we should have one person for each state? I'm from Tasmania, and I know people from Queensland, Victoria,and New South Wales that would be interested too  I'll keep watching this space Peace, Rotae |

Well i am happy so many countrys know of this site (at least 1 of all the population)
I am from Holland so we already have two from holland that's good!
Now what you could do is just make clubs/groups about the man and pormote your group. for in stance in holland we have a site where yo ucan make clubs. well there are sepcial advertisement groups hwere you can advertise your group.
Maybe we could do that on yahoo and on and on the dutch clubs and on msn. because a advertisement site can be included for instance all pop music groups/sites you can add a link of this advertisement group in many groups without hurting anyone.

my website will be online soon and I know many ppl already who are willing to help so it will work in Hungary, and we promoted Abs too for some month back in 2002 (and he had big success) so I think it wont be hard to promote Ritchie either
